FWIW I'm guessing it's a local server problem. Here in the USA I was able to do the upgrade in just under 45 min. I do see pauses when updating, but they don't last longer than a minute or two. During the pauses I've seen, there's no activity, then a blip of network activity, then CPU and C: drive activity until the next pause. My guess is that MS wants to see update status at various points, but that's just a guess since MS hasn't graced us with that information. 😒

I tested the device which was suffering this long (3-5 hours) update issue. I did clean install of build 25267 without internet connection and install all previously downloaded Dell drivers in offline. When all drivers was installed I reconnect back to internet and check for updates. Build 25276 download and installed without any issues about 45 min. When online phase was 100% it take only 5-6 min from restart back to desktop. Next I go to recovery and rollback to 25267 and try to update to 25276 again. Now that update issue was back! Just wonder what the cause of it is. Three builds in a row the same problem

Thanks CK. Downloading (slowly!) now. After download showing 10% for an extended time it suddenly changed to Installing 10%. No problems after that. The installation and restart went quite quickly.

So.. Finally the update worked after several turns.. But the update caused my internet to freeze my whole computer: when I open Edge or Chrome it freezes my pc after a moment and then I have to restart the computer manually.. Unfortunately I had to go back to the previous build.. if you’re reading this update 25276 might be the cause of the technical issues you also experience.. might have to wait for the next update after the 25276 build… @umit yildirim, Similar problems have been reported, but they started already with 25272. Was your machine working without any of these problems using build 25272? What is your system configuration?

Similar problems have been reported, but they started already with 25272.

Was your machine working without any of these problems using build 25272?

What is your system configuration?
