RS-Prerelease build 25276 + ISO is out to Dev Channel

Hi Davy,

I think I figured out why one of my machines gets the error even with Public Build 22621.1105.

Two machines with Public Build 22621.1105 have different Version/Build of OneDrive. 🤷‍♂️

The one that causes the error with SharPoint is the Preview Build 23.002.0102.0001

This other one is not a preview, Build/Version 22.253.1204.0001 is not getting the error.

Hard to say how the Preview version ended up on my public Build machine given that I never turned on this option below which would allow a Preview version of OneDrive. 😎🤷‍♂️

Note that this same option is on by default on Windows insider and cannot be changed. (Grayed out).

Edit:

I restored my backup of the public Build 22621.1105, and it showed this version from Jan 13. As soon as I started one drive it updated again to 23.002.0102.001 which is the one that causes the error with Microsoft SharePoint. I just don't understand why different from the other machine with the same Windows Public Build. 😎🤷‍♂️

Finally got time to turn off One Drive @ start up; and as you say SharePoint immediately fails.

So OneDrive aka SharePoint is mucking things up again.

Started R.P.22621.1105 - SharePoint failed with this build when OneDrive is set to start at Start-Up.

Started Beta 22623.1095 - SharePoint failed with this build when OneDrive is set to Start at Start-Up.

Started P.B. 22621.1105 - No SharePoint fails - even if OneDrive is set to Start at Start-Up.

Store does not show any OneDrive updates on any of my builds but Installed apps shows 12/01/23

That is weird. I see the error also on public Build.

I did not get the SharePoint error after I turned off OneDrive on 27256. You can see the version update in Installed apps.

I never got the error with Public Build, R.P. or Beta because I never had OneDrive enabled to start. I saw that there was an update

on OneDrive on all Builds, but I never even set it up. So, it was still disabled on startup.

22621.1105, Public Build:

These also happened on Public Build when I setup and started OneDrive. 🤷‍♂️

After I disabled OneDrive, I did not see the error again on any subsequent system restart. 🤷‍♂️

Beta 22623.1095 and R.P.22621.1192:

As soon as I set up OneDrive on 22621.1105 I got the error, so I turned it off again on the new OneDrive settings which was only available after I completed the setup. 🤣.

Got a second error when I started OneDrive again.

I don't get the error if I leave it off.
