HI All,

Cannot install .net framework 3.5 on Windows 10 on ARM Insider Preview image, is it not supported?

I used the Windows 10 ARM insider Preview "VHDX" to setup this Windows.

I tried DISM/UI also installation failure with 0x800F0950, I tried to find this ARM version ISO to install from source.

However, there is no ISO provided (just has the VHDX)

Would like to confirm is Windows 10 on ARM Insider Preview image not supported .net framework 3.5 to be installed? Thanks.

    I have a same Problem that is 0x800F0950

    M1 / Parallels / Win10(ARM)

    This method can solve my problem

    spent more than 5-6 hours checking all other guides & videos to install .Net framework 3.5 on my M1 Parallels, nothing worked but voila finally thanks to you and the above article its now resolved..

    Quick notice, please verify whether your .NET applications work or do not work, after installing KB5001030 from Windows Update. This KB is not listed on the Knowledge Base articles site, but is the latest .NET 3.5 and 4.8 Cumulative Update for Windows for ARM. I did not need to manually install the .NET 3.5 feature pack to get this update within a day of my last main cumulative OS update. I did not test this myself yet, but others have found that their .NET stuff just works, and does not require the feature pack to be installed separately.
