Windows 11 CO-Release Build 22000.51 is out to Dev Channel

I did both upgrade and then clean install after. The upgrade from 21390 installed fine, but with too many things out of whack. The clean install was good other than I had to add all the drivers from Optional in WU to clear Device Manager. One thing I came across, it would not verify my account.

Not sure if this is just not hooked up yet or a Bug. The verify button does nothing. Took some time to find it, buried under Settings, Accounts, Windows backup (Strange Location).

Please double check if you see the same and perhaps add it to your famous list.

@Eddie, is this even hooked up yet, still early in cycle?

I don't think it applies in my case, I don't sync any of my machines because they are all different.

I don't use One Drive either, I don't start it up automatically.

It carried over with the upgrade, just not on clean install. Might put this on my passable laptop. It can follow the Release path of Win11. Too lazy to bother reporting in FBH after MS leaving that device out in the cold after 5yrs due to clean install. Was told it would be considered a new device. That's the thanks after all these years providing free support.

If you seen the full ISO, appears all we might get are CU's similar to Release but based on "22000.1" till it goes to Release. Might not get another major upgrade till then which we won't be able to install on non compliant devices like now.

Do the download and install under the Optional quality upgrade first.

Thanks FG. I went back and tried it again, and sure enough it's working just fine. I guess I must've mistyped the password earlier - duh!
