Windows 11 CO-Release Build 22000.51 is out to Dev Channel

According to the blog, there is a special exception for this upgrade to allow going back to Win 10 in case problems are encountered. It sounded like it did not have a time limit.

It does say if you choose to use the Media Creation tool to do this, you can not upgrade again..

Just wondering, for anyone that updated from the last Dev Build of Win 10 to the new Win 11 dev build, does it still give you the option to roll-back to the previous build of Win 10?

i did a win10 pro clean install on second partition of a dual boot system, then used windows update to last Dev Build over it. Then this morning, update installed the win11 dev build on it. Worked great no issues at all with new build except by dual booting with both copies under my account, i had to pause Update from installing insider builds on my main system, Not sure what the work around will be?

And, yes, the roll-back to previous build is enabled( Go back is not greyed out), However, I not sure how to find out for sure without clicking on Go Back, Does anyone know if the process can be aborted once you click go back?

No option that I can find to use small icons in the taskbar. It looks fugly as it is... too big. It's a shame because I'm really liking the overall appearance otherwise.

You can use this workaround, I whish they put back the option in Taskbar Settings.

Just keep in mind that using TasbarSi = 0 causes a problem on the system tray:

The far right icons end up off center to the bottom and the date gets chopped off and becomes unreadable.

This was verified on 2 desktops with Build 22000.71. See the difference in the 2 pictures below:

TaskbarSI = 1, Nomal medium size (Same without the registry change) :

This is on a "meets requirements" laptop on Windows 11.

Very surprised, but very happy to see Windows 11 running in VM with the host on a legacy bios, 11 years old.
