Got it early today as well, and installed without incident.

    Thanks,

    Dave

I tried to follow the procedure on that article, but after I change the registry as suggested and restarted it reverted back to ReleasePreview.

It is almost like the setting is cached in some other place too.

We'll see if Johnny has better success.

I don't really need it for now because my 3 old legacy bios machines where already in Development channel and could do the updates without any problem. Even the old Dell Optiplex 380 updated fine to build 2200.51 from 21390.2025.

Still would be nice to know if there is a way to jump back in if anything happens.

    Hi fg,

I only had to change the first section for registry, the second from article was already there. It is holding in Dev channel after several reboots. Device shows install date of 5/26/2021 but WU would not install. It would go through process, report Secure Boot issue. That is with the 2 lines already added in registry (BypassSecureBootCheck) after 1st fail.

Next up ISO install on this device. Strange have no issue with virtual machines. It upgraded from 21390 via WU and also clean installed via default ISO in another vm. The Surface Pro upgraded via WU from 21996.1. Had to join Insider and it offered all 3 channels.

    Regards,
