I must admit I feel let down by Microsoft - they told us that us insiders could install windows 11 even if we did not have TPM or an 8th gen CPU, but this plainly is not true. I am unable to install - flatly refuses because I don't have TPM. I have a TPM on order, but I think this is a poor show by Microsoft.

My 5960X CPU should be plenty to run windows 11.

    Not a happy bunny.

Is the new and improved Default apps confusing/cumbersome or is it just me ? Or is it MS way of forcing - Reset all default apps ?

not just you, it is very confusing. I can't figure out how to change the default apps to my liking

Just updated my last PC, where Widget performs normal. However, Microsoft Store is still the old one on that one

Have you checked for Store updates. Doing the clean install offline, had original Store, but after checking for updates, it dl new version.

    Johnny,

Yes I saw the same, the new store is awful, no progress bars on downloads or updates, you never know when is done or if it is up to date.

22000.1 had the old MS Store like Windows 10, after the update to 22000.51 that is where all the mess is starting.

All the settings user interface and the new MS Store. 😒

The progress bar is in form of circles, which fill in clockwise directions. Took me a while before realising

Hardly visible, no indication of the size of the files either or % progress.
