Edit: FG, did you see the thread pinned by Suzy_G Forum Owner. She states:

All topics related to Windows Insider builds may be discussed in the Windows Insider Program forum. Sometimes users propose workarounds and third-party tools that are not supported or recommended by Microsoft. These topics are permitted for discussion, but Microsoft representatives will not comment on them.

With this, I expect no more post deletions regarding 3rd party tools whatsoever. This relates to AdGaurd, UUPDump, Wimlib and whatever else we happen to discuss related to Insider. Now we can take it to the top if censored again.

On the subject, of 3rd party, I tried a couple of times in the last few days to download from UUP-Dump and it was getting various different errors.

It is good that I could build the ISO using the converter on the files downloaded by W.U.

There is now wimlib 65 (3 hours ago).

Yes that is what I am saying - downloading was very inconsistent. Rebooting way before I finally did might have fixed the hiccup sooner but I just waited.

After reboot it should just continue on from where it was at the point when you rebooted

Over the years I have had insider downloads the the progression meter still says 0% through the whole download and all of a sudden it is ready to install so I don't go by what it says for sure

I have an old HP laptop with an i3-370M (first gen) and no TPM and the Windows 11 preview installed with no problems and as far as I can tell there are no problems in running any application. Thanks Microsoft.

    Hi,

Isn't it also present in Accounts? (Your Info) Does it work there?

Or online with your Micosoft Account with the Device? (Security > Advanced; email confirmation?)

If I remember right it never went off of 8% but if you open task manager and look under performance at your internet connection or you go to app history and look at the amount downloaded you can see it is still downloading. I watched that the download progressed in task manager until it finally quit so then I manually rebooted my computer and then it finished downloading and installed normally. I think I waited way longer than needed before rebooting.

I had this same problem on both of my dev channel non compliant computers that are now on Windows 11 so it does work

Thanks for that - just tried again, but when I looked in task manager the internet connection although live was not downloading and as you said stuck on 8%.. So are you saying watch the download in task manager until no downloading is happening and the re boot? and try again?
