Windows 11 kicked me out of WIP on Windows 11.

Hi all.

Today I went to Settings > ... > Windows Insider Program page.

There I was asked to restart the PC.

After I restarted, I saw that I was left out of the Windows 11 Insider Program.

Now I am asked to install Windows 10 and then rejoin the Windows Insider Program Release Preview Channel.

So I understand now it is just about time to say good-bye to my Insider Colleages on Windows 11.

    Thanks Sibro. Very disappointed with MS for breaking the guideline till GA. Caught me off guard. I do have one compliant laptop that I put on W11 last week. With the new monitor, got well over 4G in this project. Might have to come out of retirement to pay for it all.

    Now watch MS render it all obsolete with W12 😂

    The PCs given an exception will no longer receive any new future Insider Preview builds from the Dev Channel but will still get Cumulative Updates for Windows 11 leading up to GA. As I said, there is a distinction between *new builds* here.

    How are they supposed to receive "Cumulative Updates for Windows 11 leading up to GA" when they are being forced out of the WIP and instructed to install Windows 10?

    Appears time to finish the Desktop project. All parts are in as of today, including the massive 3070 video card. This thing is gigantic (3 power cables, 22 pins). Have to tear down the computer desk, no clearance on top due to the Hutch design, for the 32" HDR monitor and Computer itself.

    Suggest for you to hop on the VMware or Hyper-V bandwagon. The virtual machine is Legacy on 10 yr old Legacy desktop, an i7 2600.

    Even though kicked out of Insider, you will still get the CU updates up to GA as we have currently.

    I'm confused too. My absolutely non-compliant Raspberry Pi4B has not been kicked out as of yet and I was able to download and install .168 via WU about an hour ago. What do you make of it?

    Not familiar with Raspberry, must be similar to the virtual machines in that aspect. None have been kicked with Legacy vm bios on a Legacy host. They behave exactly like the compliant device. No bypass required for clean install.

    My friend Abbodi (wimlib, dump) has another script I'm testing, offlineinsiderenroll. Permits joining Insider, any channel with non-compliant device or even having to bother using a MS account (local account). Put the non-compliant test laptop back in Dev after being kicked yesterday. Patiently waiting for 22xx Dev to check the result.

    The Raspberry Pi4B is a credit card size computer based on an ARM64 processor designed to run Linux based OSs. Thanks to an open source project called WoR (Windows on Raspberry), it runs Windows natively surprisingly well. I got mine about a year ago, running Dev since but never linked to the WIP, maybe that's the reason I'm still in and able to update.

    That script is a life saver. I used an older version a few months ago to enroll a friend's PC that wouldn't budge. It used to show the old names Fast / Slow / RP
