Windows 11 kicked me out of WIP on Windows 11.

Hi all.

Today I went to Settings > ... > Windows Insider Program page.

There I was asked to restart the PC.

After I restarted, I saw that I was left out of the Windows 11 Insider Program.

Now I am asked to install Windows 10 and then rejoin the Windows Insider Program Release Preview Channel.

So I understand now it is just about time to say good-bye to my Insider Colleages on Windows 11.

    Good Morning fg,

Recall our conversation regarding offlineinsider script yesterday. Ran WU for 22458 non-compliant laptop. Had to rename in sources folder root of drive. Last time using WU, man that thing is slow. Back to ISO upgrades from here on in.

    Have a great day!

Edit: Still no word from Eddie regarding virtual machine situation.

    Regards,

Enforcement of the Windows 11 system requirements on VMs is now the same as it is for physical PCs. We added a bullet under "changes and improvements" this morning to our blog post for Build 22458: aka.ms/wip22458

    -Eddie

    Hi Johnny,

I got the dreaded email this morning. The all-in-one Lenovo desktop was kicked out, I'm left with only 2 Dev devices, a Lenovo laptop in the yellow zone and the incognito Raspberry Pi

    Hi Sibro,

In somewhat same boat. Only have one laptop that is fully compliant. Keeping that on Beta. With all the work around the house, still haven't got desktop done. No big deal, think will have it running with W11 once released, not even going to bother with W10 on her.

Presently looking for new desk. considering using a height adjustable electric version. Would prefer to put new desktop (all tempered glass panels) and both monitors on top. My 130lb shepherd is the reason 🤣. Might even try one of those gaming desks with the RGB lights if I can find one to support all that weight. Estimate need support for 150-200 lbs. Those Z leg ones don't appear sturdy enough.

Have 8 activated vm's to play with. Good enough for 22449, in process of making ISO for that. We probably won't see much new with that for a few weeks. Later tonight when watching movies, will see what happens with the non-compliant laptop using that script if it takes through WU.

Have yourself a great day. Staying out of forum for rest of day, it's going to be busy with dbl upgrades and all the why can't I install posts. Cheers!

They sure broke an specific promise, shame on them!

I envy your soon to be a monster system, kudos!

Thanks Sibro. Very disappointed with MS for breaking the guideline till GA. Caught me off guard. I do have one compliant laptop that I put on W11 last week. With the new monitor, got well over 4G in this project. Might have to come out of retirement to pay for it all.

Now watch MS render it all obsolete with W12 😂

My Dev test laptop was kicked out last night as well. Was this not suppose to carry on till GA, which is Oct. 5th?

Rather than using ISO, suspect users can learn how to install SSU and CU manually.

Appears time to finish the Desktop project. All parts are in as of today, including the massive 3070 video card.
