Tried to delete the driver, but the system wouldn't let me

So decided to try again and finally succeeded with the install. Just left it for a few hours. Hope the next build gives a better result

I think this could be a CPU problem. My main dev PC has a similar CPU, with the exception of missing graphics. No problem with the update. All other hardware is identical

I had same kind of issue with second hand device I'm about to buy and that issue worried a lot when I start testing this device. (W.U. work fine on my other 3 Dev channel devices.)

On first few attempts with W.U. or ISO I force shutdown too early when display goes off in 48%.

Then I download ISO's for some older builds and in-place update completed without issues.

When reading your experience I decided to give that device another change.

Working on updates goes up to 30%, restart, then long time in 48% and after 15-20 min waiting in 48% display goes dark for about 15-20 min. Then display wakeup again in 48% and then it start very slowly goes to 60%, 63%, 68% and restart at 75%. Then update completed without issues.

It's not a widespread problem and being Dev channel we have to deal with it the best we can.

Same thing happened to me, though I can't find the post anymore. Anyway, download the iso and install from that, but it took my laptop about 8 hours. It was stuck on 64 percent too after about an hours, but I let it run all day and it finally finished.
