Taskbar Widgets keep closing, won't stay open

I downloaded the full Win 11 ISO today from Microsoft and installed it on my desktop PC (over Win 10 Pro). I had been using my laptop for the Insider Preview Beta. Everything works OK on the Desktop PC install except the Widgets. When I click on the Widgets icon, it flys open and then closes right away. Rebooted a few times, removed and added Widgets from the Taskbar, but it still closes right away.

    I appreciate your help.

    Two months ago I did a drive clone from my Win 10 SSD to a regular HDD, so now I cloned it back to see.

    After the clone-back, it still has my Microsoft account listed twice, won't allow me to delete them, and the Validate button doesn't work.

    So my only other option would be to get my Win 7 SSD (that I haven't used in over a year), clone that back to my main SSD, and then do a (current) Win 10 build install/upgrade over the Win 7. And see if that fixes the issue with Windows having my MS Account listed twice and won't allow it to log in.

    Ugh!!! I'd really rather not, because all my programs I have installed and some of them I wouldn't be able to get/find and install again

    So doing a clone from my Win 7 SSD (that I was using up until last year) and going from there to Win 10 to 11, or 11 directly, I'd like to try first.

    Probably because you are using the same computer name and MS Email account and going back and forth from Windows 10 to Windows 11, also you don't have an account verification separate email set up.

    Widgets needs to login to your MS Account to work, if it fails it may close down right after you try to open it.

    The clean Install is just to isolate better where the bug is. You can always go back to a previous Image backup or clone once you have done with the test.
