I DO NOT like my search panel filled with useless Quick Search and Hot Apps

I want a straight forward, technical answer, ex: modify which part of registry, remove certain file, edit certain file using a hex-editor / notepad, or even

What build of Windows 11 are you on?

Right click Start, Run and type winver for the build #.

I ask because my Search looks nothing like your image.

If you don't like a feature file a suggestion in the Feedback Hub.

Weird, I see the exact same thing as the OP on build 25179

Going to Search settings (upper right corner), there's no way to modify the look of Quick searches, except to turn off "Show search highlights".

I don't like it either but that's the way they designed it. Luckily for me, I don't use search from the TB.

I tried a couple of registry hacks posted online but they don't work.

There's a tool that might do the trick but we are not allow to talk about it in here.

I agree, could be "Search highlights" turned ON or any of the other Search options like accounts, cloud, etc.

I have them all OFF, including Activity history because of the bug.
