Howdy! Within the last few days Co-pilot has went missing from the bottom right of the screen. It used to be an icon right of the system clock. My wife has the icon on Windows 11 Build 226321 and has the co-pilot app on the bottom right. I had the same build. Steps so far to try to fix this: I am logged into my Microsoft account(Start menu shows my picture) Copilot pro is active Updated Windows Installed Insider preview Beta and dev channels no change Checked Taskbar settings nothing about the program to toggle on or off Reinstalled copilot under apps I signed up for the subscription thinking that would help it did not. Ran sfc /scannow no change I DO have the copilot program on the PC but this one acts different in terms of how to access it. I liked the program preview version in the corner because it just popped up when I needed to use it. Now it's a separate window I have to snap to the right side, but the behavior is still very different. I don't like this. I don't know how to get it back to what my wife has. The program also appears as normal in Office 365 apps. Any suggestions on how I can get the copilot icon to how it was at the bottom right of my screen next to the system clock?

@Michael Karam1, The new App is more flexible. Up to the user where they like to open it. It can behave exactly the same as the old preview if the users place it on the right side of the screen as a side panel. It will reopen every time in the same position where it was placed. The shortcut can be placed in the taskbar or on the desktop. (We can also use a "Hot key" combination to open Copilot) Personally, I hated the side panel and the bugs that came with it. I think they changed it based on the feedback that they got from many different users that did not like the fixed location, on the right side of the screen. 😂😂 (I believe they stole that silly idea of the fixed Side Panel from Apple. 🤣🤣) After all, this is called Windows system, not Side Panel system. 😂😂😂

this is October mine was on the sidebar till this last reboot and now it's gone, before it would fly out and move the edge browser window very conveniently placed. now it is just a browser Extension basically, also before I could click back and see all my searches and previous answers to reference them that all appears to be gone now.

Howdy!

Hi SeeonX,

MS has decided to run as a separate app, so all Copilot's will end up in the Taskbar without the ability to move it next to the clock.

Put your idea forward to the Feedback Hub, if enough people want it there and vote for it maybe MS we give us the option to move it where the user wants it.

Copilot is out of pre View.
