Howdy! Within the last few days Co-pilot has went missing from the bottom right of the screen. It used to be an icon right of the system clock. My wife has the icon on Windows 11 Build 226321 and has the co-pilot app on the bottom right. I had the same build. Steps so far to try to fix this: I am logged into my Microsoft account(Start menu shows my picture) Copilot pro is active Updated Windows Installed Insider preview Beta and dev channels no change Checked Taskbar settings nothing about the program to toggle on or off Reinstalled copilot under apps I signed up for the subscription thinking that would help it did not. Ran sfc /scannow no change I DO have the copilot program on the PC but this one acts different in terms of how to access it. I liked the program preview version in the corner because it just popped up when I needed to use it. Now it's a separate window I have to snap to the right side, but the behavior is still very different. I don't like this. I don't know how to get it back to what my wife has. The program also appears as normal in Office 365 apps. Any suggestions on how I can get the copilot icon to how it was at the bottom right of my screen next to the system clock?

My update was just applied, and I immediately noticed the change to the copilot location. I also liked it in the right corner. Please put it back or at the least LET THE USER DECIDE. I don't care if it's a preview or an app. You can allow placement in the corner. Please make it a settings option.

I get that everyone has a preference but I believe the best solution is to offer the option to have the side panel enabled.... Options Microsoft! OPTIONS! please :)

that was a great feature, bruh. beside clock and not occupying taskbar space. it was easy to use. I used it most of the time due to easy accessibility instead of using chat gpt why did they remove :(( The one you are referring to, was the Preview version. It has been replaced by an App called Microsoft Copilot. The preview may still be available on some machines, but it will be removed, eventually on every machine. The current Microsoft Copilot App is version is 1.0.4.0, Windows Build 22631.4112. You can Pin it to the taskbar or just create a shortcut on the desktop. Your choice. 🤷♂️ This is the old Preview Version; I still have it on one machine, but I'm sure it will be removed. On this machine I still have both the new App and the old preview version. 🤷♂️

Hi SeeonX,

MS has decided to run as a separate app, so all Copilot's will end up in the Taskbar without the ability to move it next to the clock.

Put your idea forward to the Feedback Hub, if enough people want it there and vote for it maybe MS we give us the option to move it where the user wants it.

Copilot is out of pre View.
