I am in Build 23541, Dev Channel. I have given up and will eventually do a clean install. As much as some other poster have said I had chosen the Dev Channel, that is not what happened. I was never given an option of Channel to choose, no matter what other poster have claimed. Thanks for your reply and I appreciate your advice. I wish I was in one of the other channels, but unfortunately I'm not.

Hi,
I cannot leave the windows insider program. I've tried all emails that I've ever signed into on my computer, and all of them just say "This email address is not registered as a windows insider". I only pressed the join button to the windows insider program to see what it would do, I didn't sign up with an email or anything. It won't let me out. I would really like to get out because it's restricting my updates! I need help, please.

If you have Dev build 23xxx or Canary build 26xxx and you have use these builds more than 10 days you have to do clean install of public released version. Windows 11 Clean Installation (microsoft.com)
On other cases you can kick your device out of Insider peogram by deleting WindowsSelfHost key from registry.
- Open open regedit (push Win key and type regedit).
- Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost
- On left panel right click that key and delete it.
- Close regedit and restart. (That key will be recreated with corrected setting.)
5) If you have Beta build 22635.xxx then go to Windows Updare / Update history and uninstall 23H2 enablement package KB5027397.

2024-01-18T07:43:53+00:00 Thank you, Paul. Have been using it on Win. 10 for over a year and after leaving, my PC just would not reconcile not being in the program any longer. The registry edit did work and my system now shows I am no longer in the Insider program.
