I recently opted into the WIndows Insider Program as a Beta User, and ever since, the feature update is continuously getting stuck at 61% in installation stage. I have tried troubleshooting, but it doesn't work as well. Is there any solution to this apart from a fresh install? I do not want to reinstall all my programs afresh.

Please remove all instances of the Conexant audio drivers, disable the devices in Device Manager, delete the driver files in File Explorer, then retry the update.

Good to see you have it installed, yes keeping the bios and drivers up to date by checking manually at the manufacturer's web site is best, as the device manager no longer goes online to search for the latest drivers so don't use that method for checking driver updates. Even using Windows's update for drivers won't get the best drivers to use sometimes either.
Until they have a fix for Conexant drivers at least you know now how to get around the issue for the next update.
To be clear on the steps:
- I remove all the audio devices from here:
- download and install the 20H2 update
- ?
I leave the UCI64*.dll files were they are?

That should be it.
The issue still seems to persist. Honestly I wouldn't care if an update wouldn't come through (I guess everyone wishes that happens), but as of this week Microsoft rolled out notices that we'd no longer receive updates for the current version of windows unless we update to Windows 20h2.
And now, just like the OP i'm also stuck at 61%
the solutions provided are a bit too complicated for me (i'd be surprised how the majority of the users would be able to go around this problem), did anyone get any easier solutions?
I have been fighting this problem on my Pro3 for a couple months. Sticks at 61%. Two days ago, rather than the Win10 update proggy in Settings, I used the Update Assistant. The outlook was very good. However, as the install percentage approached the 90's, it slowed down more and more. It took a full day to creep up to 98 and then 99%, and then never got to 100%. I waited over 24 hours for it to finish from 99%, but it never did. So I restarted and tried to finish with the Win10 update proggy. Stopped at 61% again. Restarted and used the Update Assistant, and it INSTALLED!! Performing an image of the drive now. So nothing technical here. Musta got lucky. Good Luck!!
