I recently opted into the WIndows Insider Program as a Beta User, and ever since, the feature update is continuously getting stuck at 61% in installation stage. I have tried troubleshooting, but it doesn't work as well. Is there any solution to this apart from a fresh install? I do not want to reinstall all my programs afresh.

Please remove all instances of the Conexant audio drivers, disable the devices in Device Manager, delete the driver files in File Explorer, then retry the update.

Good to see you have it installed, yes keeping the bios and drivers up to date by checking manually at the manufacturer's web site is best, as the device manager no longer goes online to search for the latest drivers so don't use that method for checking driver updates. Even using Windows's update for drivers won't get the best drivers to use sometimes either.
Until they have a fix for Conexant drivers at least you know now how to get around the issue for the next update.
To be clear on the steps:
- I remove all the audio devices from here:
- download and install the 20H2 update
- ?
I leave the UCI64*.dll files were they are?

So, I had the exact same problem trying to update an HP laptop from Windows 7 to Windows 10 with the Version 20H2 Media Creation tool.
Turns out, one of the known issues is trying to do this update if you have Conexant Systems audio drivers (which, in my case, were branded 'Bang & Olufsen Audio'). https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/release-information/status-windows-10-20h2
You might not even know if your audio drivers were made by Conexant unless you have a tool that will display the drivers' original manufacturer from your installed programs list. (I used the free version of Revo Uninstaller to get this info).
I looked for any driver updates from HP's support site, and there was a 2019 Conexant driver update available for my laptop. I installed it, re-tried the Windows 10 upgrade tool, and, like magic, it worked!
Save yourself the troubled process of looking for clear method of resolving these issues if every answer isn't the same and ABC just put your files into your OneDrive folders sync edge and reinstall windows10 completely via iso to usb method custom method don't keep files wipe all .
Reload let OneDrive resync your stuff, reload your progs , it's as easy as.. well easier than making an image and takes about as long if you have lots of programs and data and you are worried make a backup image ..if you are worried! then Robert is your dads brother etc.
