Thanks, that is the same error that I had, and also other users.

Just tried your link (again, tried this previously from exactly this site, as per post earlier Page 4) and it just produces a Config file (1st line looks for Net 4.6)

    and a Log report that's 0kb

Just got a Windows Update message that some updates failed (although I have been running 25309 for 24 hours) So being adventurous clicked Check for Updates but all I got was a Security Update, and the fail notice disappeared. 🤣

Jason, I ran the Dell utility to update drivers, and it updated 5 of them so I deleted the updates folder, and started again, doing the updates and attempting the install. This time I got that same error code 0xc19000101.1000 (the .1000 code is new - I couldn't find it earlier). The only external device (besides a wired keyboard and mouse) is an external hard drive I've been using for a year with all the updates. I guess I'll try unplugging and trying once again. To the best of my knowledge the only files I deleted were in that update folder (Software Distribution, I think is the name).

Editiorial comment: This sure is a PAIN! 😢

Update: OK, I've unplugged the external hard drive, emptied the SoftwareDistribution folder, and restarted the update. If it doesn't update this time, I'll just wait for the next build. If that doesn't work, I'm afraid I'll have to rethink staying with Insider builds; this is straining my patience level.. 😢
