    for me was just a matter of unplugging external HD during installation.

    Yes I get the BSOD at 98% and it persists after about 6 attempts. Reports what failed fltmgr.sys and system_service_exception. Hope someone has an idea what it could be. Just no lick at all with complete installation. After boot it does a recovery back to previous install.

    I had that GSOD happening on one machine, I solved my case by using a third-party ISO for 25309 and doing the upgrade offline.

    Once it completed, I checked online with W.U. for other required updates like .NET and Update Stack Package.

    Up and running now without issues. 😉
