Update was painless but once again my opening Desktop had been changed from Spotlight to a Solid background colour!

Announcing Windows 11 Insider Preview Build 25309

    [Windows Spotlight]

    • Starting today, we are disabling the different treatments we’ve been trying out for Windows Spotlight that began with Build 25281 due to an issue impacting the experience Insiders will have on these treatments. We plan to re-introduce an updated Windows Spotlight experience for Insiders in a future flight based on the feedback from Insiders from using these different treatments. As part of disabling these treatments, Insiders may need to go to Settings > Personalization and re-enable Windows Spotlight.

Thanks CK. Looking in Update History shows code 0xc19000101. When I tried to download Setupdiag, I got Debugdiag instead which yielded a screen I couldn't figure out what to do with it. Back to more head scratching unfortunately.

Update: Searching found suggestions that this is likely a driver problem. Everythig on this Dell desktop is and has been working with no apparent problems, and I've had no problems running updates through 25300, so I'm still scratching my head.

Guessing this might be going forward, trying to get clarification,

because mine were moved and enlarged again.

Otherwise both PC's up and running.

It was supposed to be fixed, so new Feedback filed.

    However, Calendar is still broken.

My calendar works fine on this build too.

Is it reporting the same error we saw previously?
