Try using **** SetupDiag - Windows Deployment | Microsoft Learn

I have just used it to make sure it runs on W11 DEV channel, which it works, and it might tell you what's the main cause of your problem.

The two DEV installs I have done so far are error free, but it still produces the two files/folders to let you know.

yes this build will not install for me, tried 3 times now and gets to 99% and gets green screen and reboot and restore to 25300.

What is the error message showing on the green screen?

I have 309, now, but a bit late to the party and haven't done much with it, yet; both because of having a dislocated shoulder, which the hospital just fixed a couple of days ago. I only have 1 arm right now and for a while.

I've read the blog & will try to scan this thread, soon.

    Cheers,

    Drew

I see that Spotlight no longer has an actions icon/menu on the Desktop screen

Had the same issue on 2 updates to 25309, see my last post on this thread.

I think they mess that up when they rearrange all the desktop icons or when they disable the new U.I.

25290 Background Windows Spotlight - Microsoft Community

Looks normal now, back to the old U.I.
