The .1012 update is just a test of the servicing pipeline,

no fixes.

I will restore a backup and test again because we didn't know about the account setting back then.

I don't ever change that setting so I don't expect the result to be any different.

We'll see..., I'll keep you posted.

What method are you using to update the device to new builds?

    -Eddie

    Hi Eddie,

This build was updated via ISO, then .1012 came via WU.

On page 4 I said "I don't see that here, in fact I don't see any of the bugs reported.

Wonder if it has to do with Windows Update, I updated via ISO."

I have tested for this bug updating via WU and the result was the same, no bug (see page 8).

    >"But the windows you show are not familiar to me."

To get USB, local drives or some other host devices to be available in Hyper-V VM you have to enable Enhanced mode"

In these instructions: Use local resources on Hyper-V virtual machine with VMConnect | Microsoft Docs

    • Setting in step 4 enable Enhanced mode and then you can turn it on by clicking Enhanced mode button.
    • Setting in step 6 make Enhanced mode as Default.

Here is more info using Enhanced mode:

Share devices with Windows virtual machines | Microsoft Docs

This is a thread about the newest build, not about Enhanced

    mode in VM.

Drew was advised that if the topic needed discussion to start

a new thread. Please follow that advice.
