Mine is fine, but maybe due to the fact I have it pinned to the Taskbar.
Opens from Right click Start fine also.

Are you getting a UAC prompt when you click on it from the menu?

2021-10-14T18:57:10+00:00 WU also rolled back an Intel Display driver the other day.
WU does the same to me too with every clean install, despite disabling WU driver updates via Group Policy before going online. In the case of sound and wi-fi drivers, the installation routine is responsible not WU, the changes do not show in WU history.

Opening is delayed several seconds. After repeated attempts admin opens first click but with a delay.

2021-10-14T18:51:23+00:00 After updating my 2 Windows 11 compatible computer's this is what comes up when I bring up Task Manager.
After I click on CPU, Memory this is what I get minus any apps. My apps show up no where in the list.
