A New Issue - Still - with Optimise Drives post Windows 11 Pro Build(22000.527 and up)

Build(22000.346) now shows USB Flash Drives / Cards - as previous report to FBH Ref https://aka.ms/AAe9dct.

However, another issue appears to have been created referring to DVD (?) drive(s).

DVD drives have NEVER been reported on in all the years I've been using Windows 2000/10/11.

    Optimise Drives (& File Explorer) also recognises my USB connected printer as 'Drive N'.

    I can see the same happening with this issue. Seems the Insider Team likes to break things without repairing them. We will let the production team take care of this, lol.

    I'm all about constructive feedback, thank you for sharing. I'll share a couple thoughts.

    We don't "let the production team take care of it". There isn't a "production team". The same folks hard at work developing the future of windows are the same folks tackling bugs that exist in current releases. It's easy to read your frustration through your use of the word "excuse". When you hit a bug that takes a while to get fixed, I can understand how your perception was attained.

    The premise of priorities however is 100% accurate. Whether working through the ideation and design of a feature, the coding of such, or through the validation and bugfix process leading to better performance and improved user experience, prioritization is absolutely a constant consideration. It always will be.

    Good afternoon CK,

    Upvoted new FBH. Do you recall few years back, I forget which build, but had issue with Disk Cleanup. MS Insider Team failed to correct the problem, it went to Release and few months later it was finally corrected. The excuse I was given, "priorities".

    I can see the same happening with this issue. Seems the Insider Team likes to break things without repairing them. We will let the production team take care of this, lol.

    They still have not fixed the MS account needs attention notification issue. This was reported years ago, still on current Release, RP, Beta and Dev.
