Shortened Date and Time

No problems for me so far. Can't say I'm much of a fan of the shortened date on the Taskbar. I'd have thought 26/11/24, UK format, would be better if being shortened at all.

    My comments about the date/time stuff, after reading your (plural) remarks:

    In my retail 11 I had modified both w/ Windhawk. Prior to that, nor w/ that, did I add seconds. The abbreviated does not thrill me; I don't see any big space saving. I do agree I would have been happy to have a day/month/year format, but that does not seem to be available w/ anything. All this same stuff IS coming to retail as a CFR announced in KB5046740 of Nov. 21st. Anyway, I have ended up just not showing the date & time; can easily live w/out it and that does (for me) save space and tidy up MY Sys Tray. I am ok having the bell.

    I totally agree with you. It's not like it takes up that much space plus I have "Show Seconds" enabled. A waste of coding.

    You can disable it in setting, also can re-enable the notification bell that they removed by default.

    The defaults should be the opposite of the silly ones that MS actually set. 😂😝🤷‍♂️

    Yes, I had read about changing it if you wish I just thought the shortened date would have made more sense in the format I mentioned. I'll probably change to to the old style.
