    Hi Johnny,

    I tried the same procedure removing the app in Beta 22631.2199 and reinstalling from the store worked fine.

    But it keeps failing with Canary and cannot reinstall the app. Keeps getting the same error.

    Tried this on Beta:

    PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.XboxIdentityProvider -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage

    Beta reinstalling the app from the store worked fine. Then I can get all the Info with the P.S. command.

    Thanks for your intensive work on this concern. You are correct as it only made the issue go away. As I don't use xbox, not really a issue.

    I only have one test vm for Canary, just not into it, I will clean install the next build to see if the issue persists. It is expected to be very buggy so no big deal.

    Hi Johnny,

    It is actually easy to get the problem back after removing the application.

    Just issue the reset command and the app will show back as installed and the error will come back. 😂😎🤷‍♂️

    Microsoft voodoo again! 😵‍💫😵‍💫

    0xc1900101 fail with Can 26063.1 update. Green screen and roll back.

    With 0xc1900101 MoUpdateOrchestrator Failure Content Install Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0xc1900101: Windows 11 Insider Preview 26063.1 (ge_release). 34/zyTXkMkS2Mcte.1.2.3.0.0

    First green screen fail with Canary for a while.

    I thought that the Can 26063.1 blog said -

    [UPDATED] We’ve made a change to help reduce the number of rollbacks (with error code 0xC1900101) when installing the latest builds and are continuing to investigate reports.

    Ah well, such is life.

    2nd install after deleting Software Distribution contents, concluded successfully although slowly through Working On Updates.
