FIX: Insiders not able to switch channels - **UPDATED 8/3/2021**
Hello Windows Insiders!
Windows 11 is now in the Beta Channel, and some of you are wanting to move over from the Dev Channel. We've been getting some reports that some of you are not seeing the options to change in Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program. We have a fix that should get you back on track. Please note, this fix is for devices that are not showing the Choose your Insider Settings and Windows Insider account settings, as in the image below.
If you are seeing this, please follow the steps below to restore the missing options:
- If you have Bitlocker enabled, please suspend it.
- Click Start
- In the search box, type cmd
- In the lower right of the search results, under Command Prompt, click Run as Administrator
- On the UAC prompt, click OK
- At the elevated command prompt, type: bcdedit /set flightsigning on
- Press Enter
- At the elevated command prompt, type: bcdedit /set {bootmgr} flightsigning on
- Press Enter
- Reboot the device
You should now see the missing options:
If performing these steps to not resolve your issue, please file a new feedback item in Feedback Hub, so we can investigate.
Thank you!

2021-09-01T09:03:49+00:00 Witajcie niejawni testerzy systemu Windows!
Windows 11 jest teraz w kanale Beta, a niektórzy z was chcą przejść z kanału deweloperskiego.
Jeśli to widzisz, wykonaj poniższe czynności, aby przywrócić brakujące opcje:
- Kliknij Start
- W polu wyszukiwaniawpisz cmd
- W prawym dolnym rogu wyników wyszukiwania, w obszarze Wiersz polecenia , kliknij Uruchom jako administrator
- W wierszu polecenia Kontrola kontaużytkownika kliknij przycisk OK
- W wierszu polecenia z podwyższonym poziomem uprawnień wpisz: bcdedit /set flightsigning on
- Naciśnij klawisz Enter
- W wierszu polecenia z podwyższonym poziomem uprawnień wpisz: bcdedit /set {bootmgr} flightsigning on
- Naciśnij klawisz Enter
- Uruchom ponownie urządzenie
Powinieneś teraz zobaczyć brakujące opcje:
Jeśli wykonanie tych czynności nie rozwiąże problemu, zgłoś nowy element opinii w Centrum opinii, abyśmy mogli to zbadać.
Dziękuję!

Niestety nie pomogło.
W załączeniu nie widać proponowanych ustawień.
Żadnej zmiany nie da się wykonać.

2021-09-01T08:15:15+00:00 It worked for me, what always trips me up is the spacing in the commands. So your command should be exactly like this-
** (where it says (spacebar) that means hit the space bar, do not type the word spacebar.)
C:\Users\yourname>(spacebar) bcdedit /set (spacebar) flightsigning (spacebar) on
hit enter , then
C:\Users\yourname>(spacebar) bcdedit /set (spacebar) {bootmgr} (spacebar) flightsigning (spacebar) on
hit enter, then restart

2021-08-31T19:50:40+00:00 And yet oddly, I'm running it. I've checked the specs -my hardware meets or exceeds them.
I think the issue has to do with a user account that still thinks it's connected to n AD Domain. Even though that domain has been dead for some time. I referred to this in my original post. Thus I get the message below. I'd simply remove this account from the domain but it would require building a new user profile. So I'm going to try using a local account and see if the "lights come on" for changing the Insider settings
If you have other thoughts I'm open to them.
