I have found a solution to this. Click Windows + R, then type cmd. After that dont click enter, instead click Ctrl + Shift + Enter. This should enter you as administrator and you should be able to run that command.

This doesnt help as I cant even search anything in the first place, it fails to open and when it does its only briefly and just closes. I cant search anything on it, i've tried running troubleshooter on it, it said it found a problem, said it fixed it and continued not working. I cannot search for the command prompt and run it as administrator.

    Hi,

Some other have experienced this issue.

    Try:

    2. Type:
      sfc /scannow
    3. Let it run
    4. Restart your device
    5. Try again
