What does Microsoft do with my contacts list?

Now we have already determined that while I was doing my research about this Insider program I made a wrong turn that landed me on that page, but now you have stated, Mr. Whittaker, that what the third-party wants to do with my contact list will be explained to me.  Or anyone else.

So on the first page, a Microsoft page, there isn't anything about a third-party involvement.

So I click on the Sign up for email and what happens?

First a blank, white page shows for about one or two seconds with this in the address bar:

And that is all I can see in the screen shot I grabbed.  But it is very quick and then we next see a login page.

Now, Mr. Whittaker, please identify for me the text that would validate your claim that what my data is being used for is explained.

by default you are giving so called "apps AND microsoft" acess not only to your contact list but also to your camera, microphone, HDD.s,files and programs. your pretty much laying out your box in front of microsoft with unfettered acess , to do with as they see fit, in the name of testing!

i came across all this a couple weeks after i installed win10, i didnt agree with such invasive purposes in the name of testing, so i just un-installed. they dont need acess to some of these things by default and hopefully it will be changed by final realease otherwise, Microsoft< may become the biggest data-mining software in history!

Okay, thank you for the screen shots, it helps. Okay the "Sign up for email" link it to be put on a mailing list which seems to be handled by a third party that automates those emails. Not Microsoft directly. and the live.com former Hotmail.com <-- Microsoft owned, is just saying that Microsoft, IE your Microsoft account which is being used for a login/signup... is that will be using your information, IE pulling your name and email to complete your contact information so that you aren't having to sign up and manually put in that information. Microsoft may need to make it more specific on this page and say view your profile information to complete your forms and email list if you choose to refer a friend. unfortunately because of every companies quick sign-in options, Microsoft has it as a requirement when using azure login, what data will be accessible. Again, sorry for the confusion and thank you for clarifying.
