    This problem with invisible corner buttons is also affecting Notepad using dark theme when it is in the foreground.

    Checked (my) Notepad and could not/cannot repro "this problem".

    I can not reproduce your foreground image.

    Probably different settings for Accent Colors. Same problems with Light Theme depending on the accent colors selected.

    Also, keep in mind that when you take a snip it is no longer in foreground unless you use the Win + Shift + S button combo.

    This looks like yours. Just using different accent color:
