For myself Widgets open immediately with Win+W or via the Widgets icon, BUT... I, still, do not have the weather on the taskbar, Centre, Left, with or without temperature, doesn't matter, I do not have it.
And that's trying/checking with the default taskbar, even though I don't use it.

Yes, the behavior when taskbar is centered is what they advertised.

Not FG, but as far as I know it's normal behavior.
If left aligned no Weather/Temp.
Widgets on the left when the taskbar is centered is normal behavior?
Serious question, I don't use Widgets just testing so I don't know how it normally behaves.
That's what I see every morning.
It takes about 3 hours for the Weather to show up.

Shows right away here too when I use center alignment, but I use taskbar left alignment normally, so I just see the bug. 🤣

That is the bug reported on the Blog, they did not fix it yet.
When taskbar is left aligned it chops off the information on the right of the widget icon.
Yes, the behavior when taskbar is centered is what they advertised.
- With the taskbar left-aligned, information such as temperature is not shown. This will be fixed in a future update.
This is 1 of the reasons I haven't reported anything as an issue.
