Chrome, Edge & Firefox, all crash and the OS becomes unresponsive, I can't recover it unless I shutdown.

Anyone else seeing this?

Update:

A temporary solution is to use recommended display resolution or change to MS basic display driver.

For some tests with an external screen with the Lenovo Yoga laptop I just use a standard TV, I have a small Lenovo Adapter from USB-C to HDMI. 😉

I too used to use my TV but it's an old 42" plasma without HDMI and I don't have an HDMI to VGA adapter.

Even if I had one, I doubt it would display at high resolution.

We'll see what happens next week.

Upvote CK FBH, I don't know how they could screw up such basic functionality like screen resolution.

So much for MS internal testing! 🤣😝 🤷‍♂️

Maybe they all use the same screen resolution. 🤣

    Most likely the defaults, for HD 1920 x 1080 and UHD 3840 x 2160.

I had a couple of older screens with different resolutions, but not anymore, they all ended up at Good Will with the older computers. 🤣🤷‍♂️

    Hi fg,

I borrowed a monitor, using 1920 x 1080 via HDMI and everything is working normally.

The built-in HD Graphics 520 doesn't output via HDMI using the MS driver. 🤷‍♂️
