Browsers crashing on 25272 to 25300 - Display Resolution Bug - Temporarily Solved

Chrome, Edge & Firefox, all crash and the OS becomes unresponsive, I can't recover it unless I shutdown.

Anyone else seeing this?

Update:

A temporary solution is to use recommended display resolution or change to MS basic display driver.

[NEW] We’re investigating reports that some Insiders are experiencing freezes when using the browser and certain other apps after the previous Dev Channel flight.

I added build 25290 to the tiltle because even though the blog calls it fixed, some users are still experiencing this bug.

    Yeah the basic driver is awful, amongst other shortcomings is YT videos low quality and very slow 3d rendering, I can't even play my favorite 3D chess game. 😒

    Made a new VM with 25267 to test this bug further, updating to 25272 right now.

    Astonished to see the full range of resolutions up to 3840 x 2400.

    How is that possible when this laptop doesn't even support UHD? 🤷‍♂️

    Negative results with the VM.

    Everything works normally at any display resolution. 🤷‍♂️
