Browsers crashing on 25272 to 25300 - Display Resolution Bug - Temporarily Solved

Chrome, Edge & Firefox, all crash and the OS becomes unresponsive, I can't recover it unless I shutdown.

Anyone else seeing this?

Update:

A temporary solution is to use recommended display resolution or change to MS basic display driver.

I added build 25290 to the tiltle because even though the blog calls it fixed, some users are still experiencing this bug.

    Nope, It is working with 1366 x 768 resolution using Firefox, with Chrome still having some crashes after a while or in some type of content, but It is not immediate as before. I didn't test other resolutions.

    If I change to 3840 x 2160 (Recommended) and open Chrome or another browser, the OS Crash, meaning not allowed to use the mouse, and It is freezing. If you press too many times, the keys will make a sound after a while.

    I don't have other monitors connected. I am only using the laptop without any other external peripherals.

    I am still using the NVDIA Driver for 960M GeForce GTX

    What is the max resolution of your laptop screen?

    Opposite behavior here.

    My Nvidia driver is 528.24 and I have no problems running with recommended resolution of 3480 x 2160 on my 4K screen.

    It fails with any other resolution. 🤷‍♂️

    Three weeks ago from 1/9/2023 installation Windows 11 Insider Preview 25272.1000 (rs_prerelease).

    That sounds like the opposite of what I see here, it works with the recommended resolution (HD 1920 x 1080) or (UHD 3840 x 2160), but not with any other resolution different from the recommended.
