We are introducing a new Windows Insider affiliation badge for Windows Insiderswho are also active in the community. To receive the badge, the Microsoft account used to sign up for Windows Insider Program must be the same Microsoft account used on Microsoft Community. This affiliation badge will be awarded on a monthly basis and will remain with the profile as long as the user remains a member of the Windows Insider Program. Windows Insiders must sign in to Microsoft Community after September 1 for the badge to appear on their community profile.

I'm curious why my affiliation badge does not appear.  I've signed in and out of MC several times since September 2 - last time just before sending this.

As far as membership, I would think that - as shown in the following screenshot from my Insider's page - I've been a member long enough to have been included initially let alone only at the next monthly update:

Is there an intentional reason the affiliation badge does not appear beyond ... shall we say an "oversight" or "glitch"?

Does it require a different measure of "activity" in MC and/or in the MC Windows Insider Forum specifically?  I've been mildly active in MC in terms of marking helpful votes and such more recently than posting - and while not posting a great deal recently, the continued existence of Creator, Curator, and Conversationalist badges all would seem to support recognition of sufficient and/or sufficiently recent MC activity?

Does it require approved access to a special limited Windows Influencer Forum (and if so, or even if not so, may I hereby request such access since that would also be a more likely location for additional activity - if such a forum should even exist since as a normal user I of course would not know about it and am merely speculating on the possibility)?

    Thanks!

    Kosh

    Hi Kosh,

It looks like all the badges haven't been assigned yet as we've had several reports of this issue. Hang in there, it should be coming soon!

    Thanks,

    Suzy
