We are introducing a new Windows Insider affiliation badge for Windows Insiderswho are also active in the community. To receive the badge, the Microsoft account used to sign up for Windows Insider Program must be the same Microsoft account used on Microsoft Community. This affiliation badge will be awarded on a monthly basis and will remain with the profile as long as the user remains a member of the Windows Insider Program. Windows Insiders must sign in to Microsoft Community after September 1 for the badge to appear on their community profile.

I agree with you, I gave up a while ago. I didn't chase because it was not a priority to me.

However it has to be said that this undermines the whole badge program, I now ignore the badges that people have collected as I have no trust in the whole program.

It seems apparent now that a number of early Insiders did not get their badges when they were first introduced. When the problem was made known to the Community they fixed the new Insiders but either the fix did not work for all the early folks or it was too much work to fix everybody individually.

I guess that we will just have to accept if you haven't got all your badges, you probably won't get them.

    Davy.

Same issue here: I've been an insider since October 1, 2014 (according to the Insider Hub), but haven't got the badge.

No badge here either. Tried signing out, clearing cache & cookies but still no luck. I've also been an insider from the start on both PC and Mobile

I still don't have the Insider badge, I had assumed that it was because most (not all) of my activity in the Microsoft Community has been from an RTM machine rather than the Insider machine (same logon) but it does appear that it is being looked into.

Didn't get the launch badge either, assumed I hadn't had enough answers during the launch period but, had more marked as answers than some that have got it. still never mind, next time.
