LSAP was not turned of in my 25262.1000
and Safe Mode shows my Task Bar normally.

2022-12-12T08:11:28+00:00 Funny that when I did hit the "Hide" option for the search to get rid of the problem, an FBH notification popped up asking why I was hiding the Search from the Taskbar. 🤣🤣🤣
My reply was "Because I'm trying a workaround for a stupid bug that you added recently". 🤣🤐

If you don't hide it, what format do you show? Does it have the options in Personalization >Taskbar?

No, I don't have the options, only ON/OFF. Remember that this is a clean install ok?
That search button works fine, you don't have the SearchBoxOnTaskbar enabled, which also enables the Options in settings.
That explains why you don't have the bug. If I disable that feature it work fine also in Safe Mode, tried in different systems, same results.
I may try the Hide option to see if it still fails in Safe Mode with the feature enabled. 😎

I just tried with the Hide option and that eliminates the bug in Safe Mode. 😉
If I pick the "Search icon only" or the "Search box" it fails in safe mode, but if I pick the "Search button" it does not fail in Safe Mode. 🤣🤷♂️
Verified the same behavior on 2 machines.

It isn't there because I had it hidden before I started in safe mode.
I don't like it nor I think it's necessary to have search in the taskbar.
