Finally, on 12/12/2022 at 11:25 PM Widgets started working without signing in.
Not that I really care but I can't say the same. 🤷♂️
After 5 days still no sign of the new Snipping tool version 11.2211.35.0 on any of my boxes at build 25262.
I still have the new version on a backup but not on the clean install. 🤷♂️

Finally, on 12/12/2022 at 11:25 PM Widgets started working without signing in. 🤣👍
It is now Version 522.33900.0.0, but it only started working several hours after the update, so it is not related to this specific version.
I compared with one machine that still required signing in and, as I suspected, they enabled another one of the experimental features to remove the sign in requirement. 😎
To confuse the users even more they used 2 different experimental feature ids depending on the Widgets version installed.
One for Version 521.20060.1760.0 and a different one for Version 522.33900.0.0. 🤣🤣🤣🤐
