Preparing for Insider Preview Builds of Windows 11 - ***UPDATED 6/28***

For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    PC's that are still booting with Master Boot Record need to update to UEFI. That is where my problem is. When I try to run Winpe to change my hard drive from MBR to UEFI I get a message "Failed to retrieve geometry for disk -1". My disk is set as disk 0. There is an executable in Windows\System32\mbr2gpt. This allows you to change your hard drive from MBR to UEFI. I tried it in Winpe and from within Windows 10. No luck.

    After you can finally change your hard drive status you need to change your system status in your bios. I have an AMD Ryzen processor and SMD motherboard. so I selected this video: UEFI Mode Guidance for AMD Ryzen™ Processor with Radeon™ Vega Graphics on Windows® 10 | AMD

    had same message

    i had to enable TPM in the bios settings, restarted no more message . went to the update tab and it was already downloading the 11 preview build
