For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    My tablet's obviously not gonna meet requirements because Windows 11 is a 64-bit OS.
    What I find strange is that my 2017 Lenovo Legion Y520 is not meeting requirements.

    These are the specs that I have on it:

    • Intel Core i7-7700HQ clocked at 2.8 GHz
    • 32 GB of RAM
    • 128GB SSD + 1TB HDD
    • UEFI + Secure Boot
    • TPM 2.0
    • iGPU and dGPU both support DX12 and has a WDDM 3.0 driver.
    • Integrated display is 15.6" with a resolution of 1920x1080.

    What point am I missing the spec on? As I'm a student, I don't really have the disposable income to replace this one right now.

    Are you sure your system does not have TPM? Have you tried a bios update?

    Why did the TPM become a requirement for retail devices ? Retail devices do not have a tpm in a standard build excluding a lot of people to help you test.

    Would it not be a solution to create a vTPM instead through hyper-v features for this?
