For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    They are unlikely to support 4th gen cpus or reply. I have asked many questions about windows 10 dev releases and windows 11 without 1 answer that I could try. I have an i9 10th generation with an nvidia 2060 super video card and 32 go of ram and do on. But no TPM so I am screwed.

    hello people,

    The setup of the whole in Windows11 is good, only you forgot one thing that value of Windows. If you only make demands on the hardware and not on the software, then you are going in the wrong direction. Apple laughs at your settings. The settings you want are still not feasible. theoretically a lot is possible but practically. Bill said in a 1985 press conference I will make sure that all systems can run on windows like a ladder everything is accessible. Now you can't run your own system on all PCs. Everything changes day by day. If the banks and large companies are still working with XP, you cannot expect normal people to meet these requirements. Start updating the BIOS and work with the major brands to improve it. The customer is at the end of the line not at the beginning.

    This answer is just hype. Windows 11 is putting many people out of the loop. Most PCs do not have TPM here. Newer laptops do. This is a form of discrimination. I wonder how long before Microsoft faces court again. DRM. Windows explorer. Just to name 2 similar requirements.

    I've lost my post I put on here, won't anyone answer my question, if your system is like mine, only having a 4th gen I7 processor, will Windows update detect your system is incomparable, and NOT install Windows 11, or will it force the update, and screw my system up. I'm in the windows insider dev channel. I simply want an answer.

    If you were in the Dev channel prior to 24th June and remained there, windows update will offer you windows 11, even though the device does not meet the specs.

    if you joined the dev channel after the 24th June, your device must meet the currently published specs in order to be offered windows 11.

    if you have been in the dev channel for more than 10 days, you will need to clean install windows 10 in order to switch to a different channel. (less than 10 days, you can use the rollback feature in settings)

    [for info - it works fine on my 4th gen i3]
