***UPDATE***

For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    What makes no sense to me is that I have an AMD 2400G in a media center build. The CPU is literally 2 years old but is not supported. Everything else about the system is recommended spec and well over minimum except that arbitrary requirement that doesn't really seem to be any kind of a limitation. That kind of requirement is worse than Apple level of forced obsolescence.  😆

    Here's the situation .  Even if you have a TPM socket or get the module for a PC motherboard there is still the issue of the Processor being on the qualified list.  

    Advice :  Go to Motherboard manufacture site and verify that you have latest Bios and presence of TPM.  

    Some sites (like ASUS) will let you download the manual and also have lists of the Processors that will fit in your system.

    As I have an X99 board and have a non qualified i7 proc  I reviewed the Asus QVL list of  Xeon processors .  It appears that some of them are on the Microsoft Qualified list.  Would guess that you could possibly swap the i7 with Xeon on some X99 boards ???   

    Caveat here :  There is a note that the Xeon was designed for Servers and might not be fully compatible with some X99 board chips.

    Would like to hear from Gamers and PC builders on this.  Some of them wanted the extra cores and installed Xeon originally.  Any issues ?

    I think you misunderstood me. In all my cases, although all my PC's failed, I wasn't classified into another group, but stayed in Dev

    My Laptop come under 7th Gen Corei3, its working fine , as you said may consider this to add in the compatible list
