For those with cpu incomactible if you have tpm 2.0 or 1.2 modules you good to go as far as i know 1.2 will be able to install windows 11 but microsoft will warn you bifore install that it not recomended, you cpu should have atliest 2 cores at 1ghz they flag cpu as incompactibe bicose of ptt (platform trusted technology) or amd i forgot how it called and on that note i think that tpm requrement should be optional after all am now runing windows 11 leaked build for over a week now no isiuses so far and i dont have tpm and windows insider in dev without tpm will be able tu use it as well untill oficiall windows 11 is available so that show that devices without tpm ar perfecty capible of runing windows 11, so in my opinion they should make it optional and maybe dont let use of bitlocker and windows hello as far as i find that the two main thing that is used on tpm maybe more but as far as i see on internet those two is main thing, i dont use none of these , And bifore install warn that you device dosint have tpm module and it may be open to atack or something and recomend to use windows 10 but let chose if i want to install or stay with windows 10 for home users i dont think that tpm is that nesasery i have bean using pc as a platform for last decade and never i have a virus or something if you know what you do on you computer security is not that big of a concern , afcorse there is some who download anything to it pc and then open him or her self to viruses or something. I have cheap motherboard with dont have tpm module heder so now i have to trow away my whole setup baisicly to install windows 11 im not on lates cpus or something but xeon e5 2689 8 core 16 treads 3.3ghz with 32gb of ram and rx 580 should be able to run windows in my opinion.

I have the same problem as many other people here, My PC is not suitable for Win 11. My PC is still in MBR mode, and is a dual boot PC.

My question is, can I convert the dual boot PC to GPT without losing any data or files ? There are 2 main partitions , 1 is WinXP, kept for some programs, and the other partition is Win 10 Pro, The boot starts in the WinXP partition.

The "spec" is quite advanced and perfectly adequate for Win 11, just need to get it to GPT if possible.

I think Secure Boot require your system to boot with UEFI which requires the disk partition type to be "GPT" instead of "MBR".

Yes, I confirmed that you were correct. Thank you so much. I converted the drive (volume) from MBR to GPT and the issue resolved immediately.
