Preparing for Insider Preview Builds of Windows 11 - ***UPDATED 6/28***

For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    Am sure as we get closer to the release 'day' that we will see something in the Insider announcements about the process to Install.

    Not sure if a 'clean install' will be needed. If the OS security is that different a clean install might be a good idea.  

    Only small amount of discussion early in these postings about MBR and GPT.  Hope that the announcement covers the recommendations for this too.

    Some great tips here on finding TPM and setting it up.  There was something put out that the PC Health check was now doing a better job finding TPM on laptops.  PC builders will need to read their manuals,  Physically inspect their motherboards and maybe order a TPM module online.  There is also something about  Intel PTT firmware vs TPM but not much on implementing it on specific MB.  

    Got plenty time to evaluate this and for Microsoft to fine tune the Insider release documentation.  Concerns about individual cases and some great ideas to make sure equipment is ready.

    Note:  PC Health check still has some issues.  Do not despair if it fails a system.  

    In my case, PC health check thinks I am on a 2009 Pro build when I have latest Dev, Beta, and Preview builds installed.  Hopefully that will be fixed soon.  So, keep checking for updates to PC health check app.

    Am certain that next week it will be clear what channel you need to be in or if there will be a separate one.  Usually before a launch there will be a document released spelling out requirements and install process.  

    Suggest reading all of this 'before' install to save the frustration of having to fix because we missed something in the instructions.

    My system displays a message saying my PC doesn't meet the minimum requirements for Windows 11, which doesn't make sense since I have an RTX 3060 and the latest 10th generation Intel.

    Make sure to enable TPM in your UEFI settings. I had the same issue, but enabling TPM made my machine ready for Windows 11.

    In addition to enabling TMP 2.0 in your bios insure your Windows OS hard drive is GPT (UEFI) format and not MBR (Legacy).  Enabling TMP 2.0

    in itself will not pass you with The Windows PC check you must have your OS installed on a hard drive formatted to GPT (UEFI).  If your in MBR

    (Legacy) you can convert your hard drive to GPT through A windows tool called MBR2GPT.exe without losing any data.

    Once this is complete and successful you will need to go to BIOS and change your boot option to UEFI and enable TMP, you should then pass the minimum requirements for Windows 11.  If your hard drive is already set to GPT (UEFI) than more than likely you are booting into UEFI and should only need to set TMP.  I hope this helps some one.  Just a note, it does work because this is what I hade to do to pass the Windows health check.

    If your not sure how to do this search on the internet, search for convert MBR2GPT.exe without losing Data.

    У меня 470х.  Примерно тоже самое было. В биосе раздел "Advanc...", есть строка про TPM - там было написано, что включено.. В этом разделе есть еще строка, я поменял вариант на другой, который предлагали. После все заработало.

    У вас однозначно есть этот модуль, просто он не активирован. Попробуйте узнать в интернете, как активировать на своей материнской плате этот модуль.
