For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    I think you mean  "TPM.msc" and not tmp.msc   Right ?

    Changing from MBR to GPT requires reinstalling Windows , right ?  

    That is like re-formatting the drive.  Also, what does than mean for the Windows 'hidden' partition sizes and locations ?

    Similarly ,  how to change from Legacy to UEFI without reinstall ?  

    Isn't that part of the groundwork done before Window actually sets up shop ?  

    Have always preferred Legacy mode (still sometimes need to boot Win 7) but looks like Win 11 won't accept that like Win 10 did. So people who were used to dual booting Win10 and Win7 can use them for now but likely not a possibility for W11.  With UEFI, TPM, and (looks like) No more 'local' accounts it will be a different world indeed.

    I used Method 1 (command prompt admin) and worked for me , no data loss.  But, it could certainly happen so be warned.  convert mbr to gpt

    You can do it by booting/restarting to a command prompt and using Microsoft's MBR2GPT tool. It worked for me without having to do a clean install:

    I am one of the users that got an email stating that my PC doesn't meet the system requirements for Windows 11.  This can't be the case as I have an i9-9900ks @ 5.1 ghz, 32GB RAM, a 2TB SSD, GeForce 1060 6 GB card, a Microsoft Account, Gigabit Ethernet, USB 3.1 ports, etc.  I would like to know what part of my system does not meet the minimum requirements.

    Can you please reboot and check your Windows Insider Settings? If you have no warning message there, you should be good to go.

    I have,

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz 3.40 GHz

    Installed RAM 12.0 GB

    GTX 1050 4 GB

    System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

    And I am not compatible for Windows 11 **** is this?
    What about old motherboard and bios. How's don't have TPM and Secure Boot but they still have good PC yours both requirements totally used less for new update.
