***UPDATE***

For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    It is unfortunate to receive the news that my laptop that I bought 2 years ago does not have a processor that is compatible with Windows 11.

    More distressing is to be told that a computer with an Atom processor will work with windows 11.

    I refuse to be treated as an idiot.

    It's  your  CPU , at  the  moment  it  looks  like  Insider  build  next  week  will  be  for  those  who  have  the  required  CPU  8th  Gen  Intel  and  above  or 2nd  gen  Ryzen  and  above,   I'm  hoping  later  builds  will  allow  access  to  those  who's  systems  are  above  the  minimum  requirement .

    My Intel 10850k processor has fTPM and is referred to as PTT (Intel Platform Trust Technology) in my MSI Click 5 Bios Setting.

    Well if that's the case then hopefully I can save a bit of money and upgrade my CPU instead of getting a whole new rig.

    Bios mode or Legacy ?

    Will think that going forward Microsoft will want Bios mode ?

    Good topic !  Would like to see more info on the Drive partitioning and formatting.

    Will a 'clean' install perform this action ?

    Will a user with existing Win 10 partition be ok ?

    Have had a problem in the past with a Legacy partition / formatting be a problem with Windows

    Hard to re-do this if you have  fully installed everything and have to start over.

    Will Win 11 verify that partition type, size, Bios, and formatting are correct ?
