***UPDATE***

For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    It looks like the CPU on my Surface Pro 5 is not supported (i7 7th gen), but I'm in the dev channel. As far as I'm understanding this, I'll be able to download and test Windows 11, but won't get new builds after Windows 11 goes GA. If, at this point, I drop the machine out of Insider builds, will I be able to install the Windows 11 GA version (assuming that I'm happy with the performance), or will I be forced to revert to Windows10?

    You will need to revert to Windows 10.

    Will I  get the  beta  next  week  if  I'm  in  the  beta  channel? (My  pc  meets  the  requirements)

    Hmmm.  That may explain a lot.  If their AI is looking for very specific hardware items a LOT of existing PCs are going to get the "you're being discriminated against" message despite technically meeting the criteria.  Those lists are for hardware developers so one would hope they are not using it to screen existing hardware installations.  But if they are, then it really looks like we have an "Apple" moment on our hands.  You know, the typical "well really you could run our newest OS but because we want you to buy new stuff you can't install this" thing Apple does to cull the herd on each new release.  Bad Microsoft!

    Here's one, why is a TPM a "requirement"?  Individual PCs (like at home) are VERY unlikely to have that capability, especially existing PCs.
