For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

We've made an update to Settings to resolve some issues. Please reboot your device to ensure you have the latest update.

    I'm finding out that very few PC's actually qualify, since they would need level S0-power and some PCI bus that does not use a blacklisted (un-allowed) DMA channel.

    I had a quote But you already knew this.

    "Device Encryption Support Reasons for failed automatic device encryption: Hardware Security Test Interface failed and device is not Modern Standby, Un-allowed DMA capable bus/device(s) detected"

    It mercifully installs anyway, and I am not looking into encrypting my drives (it would be a predictable disaster)

    But I'm hoping the updates to come take allowances for the fact that not everyone wants to willingly scramble their drives, not everyone has a notebook listening for a possible "OK cortana"

    To another:

    I'd think Microsoft would continue supporting windows 10 until the betas expire (in october?) and after that, any support would have to be for a retail package, but I'm only guessing.

    I received the message, My PC is 17 11th generation with 32Mb RAM with all hardware that met the requirments.

    Do you say that next update will fix the problem?

    Is there anything i can do to fix it from pc?

    Ik ben windows11 aan het testen en voldoe aan alle eisen en ik ben er tot nu toe erg blij mee en heb al een update van w11 ontvangen gaat snel en is super goede groeten

    I have an machine with the following specs - and it says it does not meet the minimum requirements - somethings wrong with the system assessment tool!

    The SSD is 512 GB with plenty of space.
