For users who are receiving the following message in your Windows Insider Settings:

Your PC does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for Windows 11. Your device may continue to receive Insider Preview builds until Windows 11 is generally available, at which time it is recommended to clean install to Windows 10.

For the switching back from Beta, had the same issue. But, as it was written you can change back on the Beta/Dev Channel if that happens ... But with the Beta Channel i got nothing, no chance for the 11 preview. When i switched to the Dev Channel i got it asap with the next Update search. And yes, my used system (ASUS K751LB Notebook with an I7-5500U) doesn´t meet the standarts for win11. But it works just fine on this system, even better then Win10. They just have to find out on witch systems Windows 11 will run well enough so they can work on it and do needed changes. I mean: They can´t just deliver another Vista to End-Users again,

I finally got my Windows 11 Insider Preview to start downloading. I switched to "Dev Channel". Then went back to "Check for Updates". It started to download at that point. It took a couple days of nothing working till now.

    Windows Insider admins,

You have informed me that my pc does not meet standards for w11. You changed me from beta to preview.

So why do you keep emailing me to get w11 installed.?

You like rubbing salt into wound?

My pc is only 5 years old and you expect me to build another to use w11. Not gonna happen!

MS time to grow up. Pandemic = no work= no dollars to waste

You got some nerve expecting a new pc everytime you release new software. I do not need you to tell me about internet and pc security when its your software that is rife with zero days and the like.

Either allow me to use w11 with current pc specs, which are quite good or please leave me alone.

    sincerely,

    a windows user

I have a surface go 2 and I don't meet requirements? Does MS have a buy back program? This is very concerning
